Italy

Lisa is a fantastic vacation planner! For our trip to Italy, which was part business for me with a trade show in Milan, she virtually planned everything for the vacation part AND helped us maximize the Milan leg for the off hours when I wasn’t working.

I was completely swamped with my work and stressed out dealing with the trade show arrangements, so she took the entire 2 week adventure on. While in Milan, she booked our excursion to Lake Como (which included cruising around the lake and stopping in several quaint towns) and our train tickets to Bergamo. She arranged all our train tickets and itinerary for the rest of our vacation when we left my work in Milan; we went down to Sorrento, Capri, Tropea, and then flew home from Naples, with just enough time for a quick one night tour of it.

She booked the most charming accommodations in Sorrento and Tropea, and a day trip to Capri via a traditional gozzo boat, with several hours to explore the island. The Bed and Breakfast in Tropea was particularly fabulous, with a magnificent view of the Tyrrhenian Sea, beach access, and fantastic daily breakfast and delicious cappuccinos we enjoyed every morning while taking in the gorgeous views. Calabria was a gem, and it turned out to be our favourite part of the 2 week trip! What a stunning region! We loved exploring the town with its picturesque rocks and architecture and lovely beaches, and we thoroughly enjoyed our daily 4 pm Aperol Spritzes and apps, as we learned in a hangry way that we couldn’t get dinner until after 8:00 pm…LOL.

We made wonderful memories without spending a fortune and we fell in love with Southern Italy. I would completely trust Lisa with planning the next Euro escapade. She is also a wonderful travel companion!

“PORT of me never wanted to leave… Perfection of plan. That is one of the first joys of this/these itineraries [experienced when traveling with Lisa]. Before I even stepped onto the plane, I knew that every accommodation was researched, each restaurant highly recommended, every site, beach and boat tour smoothly connected with modes of transportation. Truly, all I had to do was show up. This trip, starting in Lisbon and then down to the southern coast of Portugal (the Algarve) included a taste of everything. From one stay’s balcony to another, the views were breathtaking! Daytime adventures ranged from an exciting and magical boat excursion to the caves of Lagos to a wine tasting in a movie quality vineyard. Beaches, fado concert, castles and more await with this detailed itinerary.”

“If you are overwhelmed with creating a diverse travel experience for yourself, or a small group, look no further. Lisa crafts a unique vacation from start to finish that is cultural, fun, relaxing, loaded with accommodations tailored to your budget and with the most astonishing views.

Our girls’ trip to Greece was so well thought out and Lisa listened to our preferences of wanting sightseeing, adventure, beaches, restaurant/bars and free time for shopping, relaxing and sun. Our three days in Athensincluded visiting the Acropolis, strolling the cobblestone streets of the city, exploring the flea market, and having authentic Greek cuisine on the flower lined streets. The ultimate experience was the view of the Acropolis right outside of our expansive balcony and rooftop terrace, with its sunset and lit up nighttime views. She arranged a smooth transfer via air to Santorini for three days of heaven. She reserved a villa overlooking Oia and the edge of Thira and the turquoise sea. We also had an amazing rooftop all to ourselves. It was like a scene out of Mamma Mia! She arranged a catamaran tour of Santorini and neighbouring islands that was thrilling. We met about 15 other people from all over the world and we were served a huge fresh lunch after a swim in the Aegean Sea. Do NOT miss this…well worth it! And finally, she had us stay for our entire last week in IOS, a charming, romantic island with beautiful beaches, paddle boarding and nightlife still happening (even though the students had all left at the start of September). Johnny’s Electric Bar for all night dancing was fun! Kabouris restaurant had excellent authentic Greek food. And, save some room for a crepe at the Nutelleria in town. Nothing was as breathtaking, though, as the villa we stayed in. Our view of the ferries coming in and out of the port, the ocean, the town below, and the villa’s many amenities, were all amazing.

From here, Lisa had arranged for a ferry ride back to Athens and a seamless flight home from there. The whole trip was a DREAM COME TRUE for our girls’ trip of a lifetime!”

“If you want a great experience there is no better way than to grab the itinerary from Lisa, pack your bag, make your way to the airport, and board a plane bound for Greece.

In Fall 2023, together with Lisa and two close friends, I made a once in a lifetime trip to Greece. Arriving in Athens, we settled into our Airbnb. View was incredible!! The Parthenon was in clear view from the balcony! Everything was within walking distance. Over the next two days we took in the sights – Acropolis, Parthenon, and the City.

After two days in Athens, we returned to the airport and made a “hop” over to Santorini. Will never forget the taxi driver who provided us with a condensed history of Greece.

Santorini provided opportunities to relax and explore. View from the cliffside Airbnb was, yet again, incredible – blue skies, turquoise waters, and unforgettable sunsets. Cannot believe that I was staying in such a place. Finding a loaf of fresh baked bread on the doorstep each morning was a welcome surprise, compliments of the owner. Lisa out did herself with her research. Leaving after three days was not easy.

Mid-morning, we embarked on a ferry to the island of Ios. A little off the beaten path, Ios was a quieter, more chill place to spend the second half of our trip. Sights and views were on par with the first half of the trip. The locals were friendly and suggested a few wonderful places to dine; my favourites being the Lord Byron and Katogi Tapas restaurants. That being said, my best memory of the island was singing at the bar “Johnny’s Electric Bar” – ABBA, Men at Work, and Bryan Adams – with a group of twenty somethings from Tasmania, Australia! Awesome time!

Trip to Greece was incredible!

Cannot wait for Lisa’s next trip plan. Maybe a trip to a land down under…

Thanks Lisa. Go Sassie Go!!

“I had the privilege of traveling with Lisa. She meticulously planned our two week trip through Greece, which was a daunting task. There are so many islands, chains, and destinations. The initial dive into choices of where and how and WHERE was all consuming. Lisa thoughtfully chose our destinations and accommodations to maximize our time ENJOYING and minimize time getting around. She also balanced busy excursions and relaxation. The trip itself was one in a million. So much fun and not one hiccup along the way. Can’t wait to plan my next trip!!”
